COME AS YOU ARE
Every Sunday we gather as a community for "our main meal" - the Sunday worship service. We think you'll feel right at home and welcomed into a community of people seeking to show God's love. Come as you are and join in the singing, fellowship, and listening to the Good News of Jesus preached. We expect God to do something in our hearts and lives every Sunday.
Jesus said, "Come unto me, all who are weary, and I will give you rest." Jesus wants us to come with no pretense. As we are. Guilty sinners in need of God's grace.
If you want to dress up or put on a snapback, it doesn't matter. What matters is that you come. And that you come with a heart ready to meet with Jesus.
10:30am | 1528 Madison Ave (Monumental Lodge)
What to Expect
When you arrive, come on in and up the stairs. You'll walk through a small foyer (and if early, through a kid's Sunday School class which is just fine). A greeter will welcome you and hand you a bulletin. Please feel free to browse our info table or grab a cup of coffee from the refreshments table. Sit anywhere you'd like.
Our services are about an hour and a half and we follow a flow of
worship (a.k.a. "service order") which include a call to worship, usually a corporate reading as a confession of faith, songs filled with grace and
truth, a time of silent confession and assurance of forgiveness, the
preached word, and communion (the "Lord's Supper"). We would love to meet you.
